Hello and welcome!
I am KC, an OB/GYN physician who recently graduated from residency. Prior to leaping from the academic arts and into the sciences, I completed a BA in Communication Studies in Canada. I went on to complete my medical school training in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which was an incredible adventure and learning experience.
I began documenting my non-traditional path to medicine in 2015, sharing insights and tips for current and prospective international medical students, particularly those considering Caribbean medical schools. I blogged, filmed YouTube videos, and posted on most social media platforms, however the intensity of residency life lead me to pause my online updates from 2020 onward.
For four years of residency, I was completely immersed in the field of OB/GYN and furthered my passion for comprehensive women’s health, including maternal and fetal care and gynecologic surgery. I became particularly interested in resident education and resident wellness, and am excited to explore ways to share my knowledge and the many experiences I’ve had along the way!
On this website, you’ll find resources for future and current OB/GYN residents, as well as archives of blog posts and videos that I created while in medical school for international medical students.
Enjoy looking around,
KC
